This beautiful site within a neglected structured landscape was partially allocated as green belt and partially for 250,000 sq ft of industrial development. This use neither suited the characteristics of the site nor had any commercial viability. We appointed a professional team of the highest calibre and embarked on a positive process of engagement and consultation with the Local Authority and the local community. The result was an allocation in the emerging Aberdeen Local Plan for a mixed commercial and residential development including up to 500 houses.
